Help with the Labs - Travel app for iPhone (it appears as “Travel” on your phone). The app shows the trips you booked with your travel agency.
Who to contact
- Anything about a booking — contact your travel agency first. Prices, payments, refunds, changes, cancellations, documents and travel questions are your agency’s to answer. Its phone number and email address are on its website and in the app’s offline trip view, and you can message it from your booking in the app.
- The app itself — write to us at hello@quobo.co. Tell us the email address you sign in with, your agency’s name and what happened. We are Quobo Labs, LLC, the company that makes the app.
Signing in
Open the app and enter the email address your travel agency has for you. We email you a one-time code. Type the code into the app and your trips open. There is no password to remember. If you travel with more than one agency, you choose which one to open, and you can switch later from My Profile.
No code in your inbox? Check your spam folder, check the address for typos, then ask for a new code. A code works once and expires soon after it is sent.
“No trips found”
This means no agency has a booking under the email address you typed. Your agency may have booked you under a different address — an old one, a work one, or a partner’s. Ask your agency which email address they have for you, then sign in with that one. If you want it changed, your agency can update it.
Saving a trip for offline
Open your booking, find Take your trip with you, and choose Save documents for offline. Save them one at a time or all at once. The documents, and a summary of your trip, are kept on your phone. With no signal — at the port or at sea — open the app and they are on its start screen. Remove from this phone deletes the saved documents.
Paying, and your receipt
Open your booking and choose Make a Payment. You are paying your travel agency, not Quobo. Card and bank payments are made on a secure page run by Stripe, which opens in a Safari window; when you finish, close it to return to the app and the payment shows on your booking. If your agency accepts other ways to pay, such as Zelle, Venmo or a check, the app shows its instructions.
Your receipt comes from your agency: it emails you a payment confirmation, and every payment is listed on your booking. For a refund, a payment that has not shown up, or a question about an amount, contact your agency. The app is free and sells nothing itself.
Deleting your sign-in
In the app, go to My Profile → Delete my account. The page explains what will happen before anything is deleted. It removes your sign-in for every agency you use it with, and what the app saved on your phone for that agency.
Your booking records stay with your travel agency, which has legal and contractual reasons to keep them, so deleting your sign-in does not cancel a trip or refund a payment. To have your agency erase your personal details too, ask the agency — its contact details are shown on the Delete my account page and on its website. If you cannot reach it, write to hello@quobo.co and we will pass your request on. The details are in the App Privacy Policy.
Reporting a problem with another traveler
If something in the app — for example a roommate introduction — is abusive or inappropriate, tell your agency or write to hello@quobo.co. See the App Terms of Use.
